Rummage Sale Guidelines

Mt. Zion Church has a rummage sale on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.  The purpose of the sale is to raise money for projects in the building:  repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades of the facility.  It’s an old building (parts of it well over 100 years old!) and needs lots of TLC in order to continue being available for the various kinds of ministry and community service that it gets used for every week.

The rummage sale is fueled by donations.  Items may be dropped off after our Sunday morning service, from 12:30-1:30 pm, or on Fridays from 10:00 am-Noon.  Also by appointment; call or text (218) 368-2951.

Donated items must be clean, in working condition, free from rust, stains, tears, and odors.  We reserve the right to refuse items that don’t meet our approval.  Some of the categories we are looking for:
-Clothing, accessories, shoes, boots – in good to excellent condition.
-Small electronics in good working condition, less than 5 years old (not obsolete).
-Household items in working condition.
-Toys in good condition, not missing pieces.
-Furniture in good to excellent condition.  (Space is limited, so large pieces may be
refused; also we don’t provide moving or lifting services.)
-Craft supplies.
-Jewelry.
-Artwork, pictures, with frames in good condition.
-Tools in working condition.
-Linens.
